Legal Question in Employment Law in New Mexico

Fraternization

I am currently employed by one of the largest casual restaurant chains in the world. I manage/supervise 50+ employee's. I was recently investigated and documented for attending a party at which several of my employee's happened to be. I have asked throughout my chain (immediate supervisor, his supervisor and my direct HR director) for a written copy of the companies Fraternization prolicy that covers this issue,..as of yet I have recieved nothing. My questions are these: Can my employer conduct formal investigations into my personal life based on rumor? Which questions can they ask about me? What questions about my personal life can they ask employee's? What of my personal affairs can I be required to reveal to my employer?
