Legal Question in Employment Law in New Mexico

Medical Problems and Labor Laws

My daughter has been diagnosed as bi-polar with schizoeffective disorder. Her employer had problems with her needing to take breaks occasionally, different from her scheduled breaks and stated that they needed a statement from her Psychiatrist with a list of considerations that they would need to abide by to accomodate for her disability. There was such a hassle from them over her just needing to take a short break from the stress that they agreed to time off under the family medical leave act, for her to get on new medication and to obtain the needed considerations statement from a doctor. She was off for over 2 months and being seen by the Psychiatrist during that period and when he felt it was okay for her to return to work, she gave the HR department the list of considerations from the doctor and they agreed that these weren't that much of an interuption to her work day, and let her return to work. Now, less than a week later, the team leads are hassling her and telling her they can't make these acceptions for her and if she does need to take a break other than her scheduled break or at a different time than her scheduled break, they will write her up and terminate her employment if needed. Where do we need to go for answers?
