Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Mexico

Lessors entering home without Lessee's permission

I am leasing a house. I know a lot of cops, and they are calling me telling me that my landlords are entering the house. They have not asked my permission to do so, they give me no notice they are going to do so, and they don't leave anything telling me they were there. But I know they are because local law enforcement is witnessing them in my house. I came home early yesterday to find the Lessor in my house. Is this legal? Can they enter whenever they want to?

I need to see the lease. Was there an emergency?

Repairs required?

Usually leases state reasonable notice required for entry, absent exigent circumstances.

If your cop friends are familiar with your lease, and the landlord is trespassing, have him arrested.
