Legal Question in Legal Ethics in New Mexico

bad judge

i was contemplating filing a complaint with the judicial standards commission in new mexico against a judge. i called the commission and since this judge is no longer a judge (he got voted out of office)the commission said they no longer have jurisdiction. so i called the disciplinary board (since he is now a lawyer) and the disciplinary board said they have no jurisdiction since the ''fault'' occured when he was a judge. so my question is------how do i get my ''message'' out there that ''i was done wrong'' and get this guy out of commision?

Re: bad judge

Check with your attorney general. I find it hard to believe that the grievance commission won't take the case, but you definitley shouldn't take no for an answer. Find out from the ethics board, someone definitley shouldhave jurisdiction. If it is a new type of case, then demand that they estabilsh an ad hoc committee, or take some other official action, because that's their job one way or the other.
