assign profits of home sale with ex boyfriend

How do I write a legal document assinging a percent of the profits of the sale of my home with my ex-boyfriend of 16 years and the terms and conditions I want to describe.

The legal document you describe is called a contract, it is an agreement between 2 or more parties that provides for mutual promises and consideration for those promises. It is not a simple document and it is most important that it be properly written so that it is enforceable in the future, in case one of the parties does not perform as promised in the agreement.

This is not a difficult or tricky subject to deal with, but you must get capable counsel to draft the agreement for you.
