Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Mexico

Rental Eviction

I have recevied an eviction notice as I missed two payments in the beginning of my contract. The notice states ''If the amt of $ is not paid within three days from the dat of delivery set out below the rental agreement shall be terminated''. If I have the amount paid by the date can I still be evicted?

Re: Rental Eviction

If you comply with all the terms of the eviction Notice by the date given, you may not be legally evicted for non-payment based upon the facts you have provided. If there are other grounds for eviction, they will have to be dealt with separately. One cannot be simply locked out in NM. The landlord must go to court and get an eviction Order/Judgment, and you must have notice of this.
