Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Mexico
Here in New Mexico my freind who is under the age of 16 (who was the passenger in a car) got a ticket for not be buckeled up. My question is since she was under the age of 16 should that ticket gone to the driver instead?

No. Your friend is personally responsible for obeying the seatbelt law if she is 14 years of age or older.
