Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Mexico
Tommorrow I have court for driving on a revoked license, well if I am found guilty and sentenced to 7 days and i appeal it on the spot will I still go to jail or instead excersise my right to excuse the judge from the case be better because I know the judge doesnt like me

If you are going to trial, you cannot excuse the judge. It is too late. If you are convicted, you have the right to appeal. You must file a written notice of appeal within 10 days of your conviction. You have the right to be released on bond while your appeal is pending. Not having a lawyer will probably mean you will run afoul of the rules governing proceedings such as you describe, as they are technical and tricky. Break a rule, lose the case. Good luck.
