Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico
Co-personal representative question
I want to hire an attorney in order to deal with several issues that involve my brother who is also a co-PR. Can I pay the attorney out of the estate or do I pay him out of personal funds.? I don't want to hire the attorney to represent both of us, just me.

Re: Co-personal representative question
You may not spend estate money for anything which does not benefit the estate and therefore those who will inherit from it. For personal issues you must spend your own funds.
