Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico

estates

My grandmother passed away in April and my aunt indicated that she had no idea how to get in touch with the other decents. She stated that my grandmother had no will and stated that she was the executor of the estate. In Pennsylvania, where I live, I know that there can be no executor without a will. I searched the probate court and have not been able to find any claim filed regarding her estate and I know that her estate was greater than $ 30,000. I also saw that if my aunt was a personal representatives, she was supposed to give the other heirs notice within 10 days. My father (my aunt's brother) proceeded his mother in death. I am looking for an attorney to help me understand New Mexico law in terms of the distribution of the estate etc.

Re: estates

If your grandfather is not living, then your grandmother's entire estate passes to her living children in equal shares if there is no will.
