Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico
WE are full time RV'ers and we do not own any property just a small motorhome and emergency cash. Do we need anything more than the Living Will form & Power of Attorney for the state of NM; where we are legal residesnt of.

A properly structured estate will include an Advanced Directive for Health Care [similar to the old living will, but a more recent form], a :Power of Attorney for Health Care, and a Durable Power of Attorney for each other in case of incapacity. The motor home and cash can be handled by putting a beneficiary on the title of the first and the bank account of the second. The planning would also probably include a Will which would provide for the disbursement of your personal items, family heirlooms or keepsakes and anything of sentimental value. These documents are relatively simple and inexpensive, but very necessary if you want your wishes carried out in the event of incapacity or death.
