My husband & I have wills that were drawn up in Texas 20+ years ago. Are they still legal even though our residency has changed to New Mexico??

Your estate planning documents should be reviewed and brought up to date. An Advanced Medical Directive, for example, is a device to avoid the depletion of your assets by long-term technical support without which you would not live. The Quinlan situation. Bringing everything up to date and adding any critical missing devices to avoid probate using New Mexico approved language is your best advice. Everything can be done by email, fax and phone on your schedule. Email us if you want further information.
