A formal trust is not do-it-yourself stuff. In addition to a formal trust document, there are several additional documents required to acquire the trust property, as well as a will and documents for health-care. This is not a good time to Wal-Mart your estate plan. Consult a professional - it's not as expensive as you think, and if you want it to work after your death you need expert planning and advice.
