How to protect inheretance for Common Law Wife

My Live in for the last 10 years and I bought a house to gether in 1998, the house is in her name first and mine second.

I would like to know what I have to do to insure that she keeps the house and my children are not allowed to take it away from her upon my death?

Re: How to protect inheretance for Common Law Wife

You accomplish that protection by the language in your deed. Joint Tenants with Right of Survivorship. If your deed does not contain that language at present, you can re-deed the property to your and your wife in that fashion. Upon the death of the first of you, the property is solely owned by the last of you.
