Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico
Rights of Surviorship
My mother past away without a will. I have my name on the deed written out, ''mothers name or my name''. She was married back in Sept. Since my name is on the deed does that mean I'm entitled to the property?

Probably, although no competent lawyer will give you a definitive opinion without seeing the document and knowing whether or not the Deed was properly recorded prior to your mother's marriage.
