Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Mexico
Injury on job
I am a traveling nurse. I work as a contractor type of job. I hurt my foot on job. Who is responsble for the care of this case. I am now working in TX as still a traveling nurse and foot is bothering me.. What recourse do I have. Am writeing this for my sister.

Probably no rights..most employees in Texas are not covered by work comp insurance..your sister sounds like an independent contractor and unless someone else caused her injury, she has to use her owne insuance..for medical care and disability..
