Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
I am a Citizen of the United States.I am trying to File for my Mother in a anotherc ountry.In the current process I gave them Her marriage and Birth Certificate but they are currently asking for more proof what could that be.

This type of a request for evidence should be handled by an immigration attorney.
In general terms, there has to be a link between 1) the child's current legal name and his/her name on the birth certificate, 2) the parent's current legal name and his/her name on the birth certificate to 3) the parent's name on a child's birth certificate.
Various documents may be used: birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates, court records, school records, church records, affidavits etc.
