Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

on feb 21 i was charged with unlawfully dealing with a minor in the 1st...alcohol

this was a sting operation by the atf...the agent told me to take this course on line and complete it and pass it and everything will be ok.....should i still get a lawyer

Yes, as answered above, you should not deal with the police or the district attorney without an attorney. Do not give any statements to them at all and hire an experienced criminal defense attorney right away.
