Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Good morning, I'm in process of divorce,a month ago I had a car accident,the car is under my husband's name even the insurance,I had to call my husband for this information. My husband came and took the car,and at this time he didn't give me back the car,and I'm renting a car because I have to go to work and I have two kids.What should I do to get back the car?

You say you are in the "process of divorce". If you have an attorney, he or she should be advising that you should go into court with a motion to get the car back. During a litigated divorce, everything is supposed to remain status quo. Ask your attorney. If you do not have one, call me to further discuss. 631-864-7589.
