Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

My house is going into forclosure due to hurricane sandy. I had hired a public adjuster to handle my insurance issues. I am still displaced and paying rent so i cannot afford to pay my mortgage. I sogned a contract with my public adjuster. What are my financial responsibilities to him?
