I am married overseas. What would be the consequences of marrying another man in the US without a divorce from the man overseas?

The consequences of marrying a person while married to another is bigamy. Depending on where the bigamy is legally pursued the consequences may vary. You must divorce before marrying another person. Where did you get married?
