adding spouse to deed
In order to add anyone to a deed, you must actuallyprepare a new deed in which you transfer the propertyto yourself and your spouse. You should go to thecounty clerk's office(City register in NYC) toask for all the forms you need to effect a transfer. They will give you all the forms but the deed, whichyou should have an attorney prepare.Good Luck
