Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i have recieved a divorce notice from my wife and it states abondment as the cause foe her asking for a divorce. She had the home, car, job if i contest the divorce what might i recieve from a judge. Also what does abdondment means.

There is no way of telling what you may receive without more information. Abandonment is the most common used grounds since it is rarely contested.
