Legal Question in Disability Law in New York

E.E.O.C.

Filed a complaint with eeoc almost 2yrs ago, disability discrim found by Eeoc. Corresponded with employer back and forth once through eeoc. I was never given right to sue.I asked for right for hearing about 6 months ago. Hears nothing. I can't reach my charge investigator, does not return call or respond to a note I left. Never spoke to each other. Case involves high profile company/person. I don't know what or if I should be doing something. What should I do?

The EEOC and the State and Local agencies don't represent you, they enforce the laws. You have to hire a private attorney to do it right.

Re: E.E.O.C.

It is not so unusual for such a lengthy investigation by the EEOC given the volume of complaints along with budget cuts they have endured during the last 8 years. Perhaps you may want to seek an attorney to evaluate your case and advice you on a course of action.
