Re: Federal discrimination Post Office

The Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) will generally not appoint attorneys except in extreme circumstances. The only situations I am aware of recently are the appointment of an attorney/conservator on behalf of an appellant challenging disability retirement who is also mentally incompetent.

You can request your regional office of the MSPB provide you with a list of attorneys who are willing to work pro-bono. These attorneys may have income requirements before accepting pro-bono work.

There are many ways to find an attorney with experience in the MSPB. Do a "google" search for MSPB Attorney or ask a co-worker for a reference.
