Legal Question in Disability Law in New York

Is my LD daughter protected under ADA or 504 if she is in a private 4 year college and is unable to consistantly get support services because she is on athletic scholarship..she was denied entrance into a program because she did not have a 2.5 GPA but a 2.34 does she have any recourse under law for a reasonable accomadation under the law that doesn't disrupt a program

Your daughter is entitled to ADA and 504 protection for access to an education. She may hove have a claim with respect to access to a programs because of her overall grade point average. She must, however, consult with any attorney for more details about the remedy she is seeking.
