what is a affidavits sworn to or affirmed by,,is that just a letter signed by the person,, do i have to notizied it

It is a document stating facts to the persons knowledge with the closing words of sworn or affirmed as known by you to be true. It can be notarized in the presence of a notary or it can be sworn prusuant to Title 28 of the U.S. Code.
