Legal Question in Administrative Law in New York

I'm opening an LLC for Freelancing Services. I am based in New York City. Is it beneficial for me to open my principal address in FL and file for a Foreign LLC in New York if I will be conducting business in NYC? There are some cost-saving advantages but would like to know what is usually advised for freelancers doing business in NYC

Generally speaking, for LLCs the typical advice is to form where one resides. In NYS there is a requirement to publish the formation of an LLC. This can get costly. The cost, however, can be mitigated with legal advice.

I offer formation services that are only slightly more expensive than legal zoom and you get an attorney doing it for you. Please contact me directly at info(at)thelegalists(dot)com
