Legal Question in Administrative Law in New York
title of my fathers car
My father passed away in May of 2009 and did not have a will or an estate. The only thing he had was a car that I paid off and now would like to title the vehicle in my name. I live in New York and the car came from Florida. I have been getting the run around and thought I try you. We do not have an executor.

Re: title of my fathers car
Your question appears to concern Florida law if the car is titled there and your father was domiciled there. In any event, you will probably need to settle the estate in FL.
