Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New York

My brother got arrested and indicated on drug charges by the DEA 2 years ago. They took his security boxes but in one of the boxes it only contained house deeds for my father and other stuff in China. Now that he's been indicted, there was no word on the procedure to get those back. I Really need the deed back due to a health issue with my grandma, how do we proceed to do this?
