Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New York
Civil Appeal in Eastern Federal Court
To whom it may concern, I recently loss a civil action V Home Depot. I wish to appeal, the jury did not understand the complications of the issues and I was under narcotics and opiates , water pills and could not remain in the seat in the hearing, the judge allowed me to lay down in the court room. I find that this case took on a life of its own without me ever participating in this event. In fact , we were suptised to hear that we were going to trial. My wife has Mutiple Sclerosis and she is not the best of witnesses in any situation. Her disease causes loss of memory and the atorney representing us did his best to be incompetent.
Please Help. With God Speed. Corporations have more than enough money and can affor to wait it out we waited for
five years, loss our business, our home and other resources as a result. I continue to believe in this system, because this is all there is. I was injured when a forklift ran into my palate with more than a ton of building materials and the piping on the palate injured my foot, causing a contusion, a fractured shin and surgery to my knee. I am 567 years of age we loss everything we earned over the thirty eight years of marriage and hard work. I have lost my joy of living , I suffer daily.

Re: Civil Appeal in Eastern Federal Court
It is difficult to reverse a jury decision. However, I would need to hear the facts of your case before I could give you a diffinate opinion. I presume that your trial lawyer represented you on a contingency basis. However, more likely than not you will have to pay for an appellate lawyer and for the transcripts. I handle personal injury cases like yours and feel free to call me if you wish to discuss your case. 212-622-7180.
