Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New York
is a settlement of transcript necessary for an appeal?
if there are no ammendments to the existing certified transcripts which i have already obtained, may i submit them without serving a settlement of transcript?

No. Under CPLR 5525(c), the appellant shall serve a copy of the transcript on the appellee within 15 days from receipt.
