Legal Question in Banking Law in New York
bank failed to wire transfer money to final destination
I am a citizen of the United States currently living/working in Seoul, Korea. I asked a Korean bank to wire transfer $1,029 to my bank account in St. Louis on April 6, 2004. The bank's New York branch withheld the money and the money has not reached the final destination as of today, nearly a month from the date the money was sent. In result, I have several checks that were bounced, had to stay up making many international calls at night, waste my time trying to run around explaining the situation to bank employees, etc.

what is you question? This sounds like more of a customer service issue than a legal issue.
