Legal Question in Banking Law in New York
Business Account
Hi...
I would just like to know what paperwork do banks usually require when setting up a business account for your corporation and do they usually require a certain amount of money to set it up and how much is this?

Re: Business Account
At a minimum, tTo open any account, you will need a Tax Identification Number. This number can be your social security number if your business is not incorporated, or can be a federal TIN issued by the internal revenue service.
Different banks will have different funding and documentation requirements; I recommend you shop around for your best bargain.
Good Luck.
