Check written from closed account
Can you sue someone if they write you a check in the amount of 10,000.00 from a closed account. If so, what are the statue of limitations?

You should be able to sue if they closed the account and took the money before the check cleared. If the person who cut the check knowingly did this, they may face other consequences as well.
