Legal Question in Banking Law in New York
My credit union just dissolved and there was no letter sent to anyone pertaining towards this action. It was assumed to had merged with the NY Times credit union and i had to find out from security that the FCU credit union from the now defunct Off track betting corp. had also dissolved now how can i obtain my money and can i file a suit against them for emotional distress?

There is no such claim for emotional distress in this situation and you do have protection (insurance) for your deposit.
