Legal Question in Banking Law in New York
HOLD on checking account
I received Social Security Disability and VA checks my account was placed on HOLD by a company is this legal since my checks are government issued.

No. You need to file a motion in court to have your account unfrozen. Call your local court for info on how to do this, or contact a lawyer.
