Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

Artist's personal body of work

In a sample application that I was filling out, paintings were listed under assets. I am an artist trying to build a body of work so that someday I may be able to get a one-person show. If I file Bankruptcy(chpt. 7) will I have to surrender all my personal work to be sold to satisfy my debt?

Re: Artist's personal body of work

Depends on the answer to this question. If your work was placed for immedite sale to a dealer how much would be paid? If nothing or a small amount then the Trustee will not do so.
