Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
I am aware that filing Chapter 13 bankruptcy will stay a real property bank foreclosure pending approval of a payment plan.
Is the same true of Real property taxes which are in arrears on the same property if the municipality is listed on the schedule of creditors?

Yes- you would have to include the tax arrears in the Chapter 13 plan. I have filed Chapter 13 bankruptcies just for property tax arrears.
