Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
bankrupcty
I am currently receiving ssi and live in public housing NY . I am in debt from three credit cards and unable to pay back the amount owed. They are threatening legal action, I am thinking of bankrupcty, but I am wondering whether it is necessary, since I have no assets or funds to ever pay this. I am over 65 years old and I am worried.
What should I do?
