Re: bankruptcy
For someone with an overwhelming amount of debt, bankruptcy is just one option. Working out payments with your creditors is another. A third is to negotiate reduced, lump-sum settlements with your creditors. A fourth is to borrow money from friends or family members so that you can get a handle on your debts. A fifth is to do nothing and deal with judgments.
Many of these options are addressed on my web site: http://www.bankruptcycanhelp.com/debt-negotiation.php
Good luck!
