Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

Bankruptcy and Judgements

I am being sued and cannot afford expensive litigation. A lawyer said it could cost 50 to 100 thousand. Can I just ignore the lawsuit ''lose'' get a judge ment against me and go bankrupt? I own 2 pieces of real estate with some equity.

You need to consult with a Bankruptcy Attorney.

If they get a judgment against you alleging Fraud, Bankruptcy may not help you.

The equity in Property is an issue, thats why you need an attorney. You can't Afford Not to have an attorney.
