Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

bankrutcy chapter 7

I filed in 2005 and had a lawsuit pending it just got settled, but my lawyer is holding on to my settlement,and want to know if I owe any finance charges.

so my ? is being discharged of everything is it possible to owe any finance charges
