Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

Changing Mind about Chapter 7

I have changed my mind about filing for bankruptcy. I recently filed for chapter 7 but my family just offered to bail me out. I have not had my hearing (it's in early August)yet but I have submitted all of my paperwork to my attorney. My attorney is giving me grief about changing my mind and says it is too late unless I want to pay a multitude of fees to straighten my situation out. Is it really too late to regain control of my situation?
