Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
credit history
I filed bankruptcy several years ago; it
has been discharged for about 4 years.
This bankruptcy does not show up on
any credit reports (as if it never
happened). Why?

Re: credit history
Really good question. It sounds like the credit reporting agencies never received notice of the bankruptcy, which is unusual, but which does occasionally happen (it's a big system; sometimes things get lost).
