Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

creditor trying to collect after bankruptcy cosigner

my son filed ch7 and reafirmed on car- i was his cosigner-i filed ch13 - the car was repossed-now bank wants to have bankrupcy court release me so they can collect from my son- is there anything that can be done so he is protected?
