What happens after you are discharged? What if I receive money from retirement bonus after my discharge?

Re: After Discharge

A bankruptcy discharge is nothing more than a court order saying to your creditors that they are no longer allowed to go after you in collections. There is a lookback period for windfalls; if you win the lottery within the lookback period, you'd have to renegotiate your discharge, for example.

Retirement bonuses are not generally considered to be windfalls.
