Re: Do-It-Yourself Bankruptcy

Most stationery stores sell the "Blumberg" bankruptcy kits; bankruptcy court clerk's office also has some forms; and most can be downloaded from scores of web sites on the Internet -- along with "self help" sites which answer most questions. Barnes & Noble has some good informational books also. Given the complexity of some of the exemptions, however, it might pay to spend $250 and have an attorney do it right... I see ads all the time advertising this rate. I think the court filing fees are more than that these days.
