Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
exemptions??
Is there a site online that lists the current exemptions
for NY and NJ ?
If I have a computer or tv that are broken but I still own
them do I have to list them?
Is there any amount of jewelry you are allowed

Re: exemptions??
The NY exemptions are listed in the McKinney's Laws. A copy is available to you at the supreme court library in your county (Queens?). A library with KcKinney's (like John Jay College) will have it as well.
On the internet, I am not sure. Maybe if you search 'Bankruptcy Law'.
A bookstore would have something in the Law section.
In addition, you are welcome to meet with me for a free consultation and I can review your petition.
