The U.S. Bankruptcy Court charges a filing fee of $209 for a Chapter 7 - the most common form of Bankruptcy but I have no information about your case so I don't know what form of Banbkruptcy is appropriate for you. An attorney is recommended and a good one will do everything for you - probably for somewhere around $800 in addition to the court fee. So it will cost you around $1000.
